semester 2 blog 8

1. What stands out to you most in this interview?
What stood out to me was that the book was at first band from schools and library. The way he found out that his books was band by news paper and people . The people tired to censor what he wrote, but he was not nade to go to court for the censorship.
2. What experiences led Vonnegut to write Slaughterhouse Five?
What lead Vonnegut to write Slaughterhouse Five was that he saw that what had happen to him was pretty historical. At first he wasn't planing on writing on his experience but he saw that how wars were shown that men were doing the fitting and not show that it was babies who at war.
3. Prior to reading Slaughterhouse Five, what would you like to ask KV?
What I would like to ask Krut Vonnegut is, how did you use your experiences you had to write the book? How did your experiences affect your writing your book?

semester 2 blog 6

http://11thgradehumanities.blogspot.com/2011/02/blog-5.html

I like Livy's first pitch is good because you can get a different point of view of how the teacher talk about there jobs because i know my mentor made it seem that being a teacher isn't the right thing to do during this time. Also i think that by having  a different topic to write about from internship would make the reader more into the writing.
I liked Maira's last pitch i think that having the perspective of the camera and having little thing to talk about is really unique and i think having different way to write the article will have a spice to the book.
I liked Jeffrey last pitch because i think that this article could add a humor to the book and it can also have a different type of writing to the book. This pitch can make a good story for other to enjoy

This interview started the interview with bio information and a small anecdote mix together. The question that were ask were good question that had thought provoking. The interview wasn't just like a question and answer it was more like  a conversation. The quotes he used and reference's he used were good i like that kind writing.
